2020-2021 Back to School

As we are nearing the start of the school year, our Back to School Plan for the 2020-2021 school year is linked below.  Here you will find the details about our return to school.  It includes rationale, crucial information, and actual daily schedule formats.  It is not all inclusive as we are sure that new questions will arise as we are working through the plan.

Barring circumstances outside of our control, staff will return August 13.  Freshmen will attend August 17.  Alternating days of attendance (in-person and remote hybrid learning) will begin August 18 for the orange group and August 19 for the blue group.  These details are provided in the Back to School Plan.  The dates have been placed on our school calendar for you to reference.  You can access our school calendar by clicking on Master Calendar under the above tab Calendar.  You can also subscribe to our Academic Calendar that includes all orange and blue days, plus no school and vacation days by clicking on Academic Calendar 2020-2021 under the above tab Calendar.

Online Registration ended on August 10 at 4:00pm.  All students must be registered before attending class at Pontiac District 90.  Please contact our student registrar Kelly Fogarty at kfogarty@pontiac90.org for questions on registering your child.  Class schedules are available for students who has successfully registered.  Mrs. Meyer (lmeyer@pontiac90.org) and Mr. Flott (jflott@pontiac90.org) are requesting all schedule change requests be made through e-mail before Wednesday, August 12 at 4:00pm.

As an extra precautionary step to help ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, we are allowing visitors to the building by appointment only.  Thank you for your understanding.

We boast an awarding winning music department (including top IMEA State Awards for individuals and groups) that is dedicated to community pride, positive student experiences, and musical excellence.  Our FFA Chapter is top-notch and has been awarded the Model of Excellence Award as the top FFA Chapter in the nation in recent years.

Our student-athletes compete in the Illini Prairie Conference and have enjoyed success as both individuals and teams in the IHSA state series championships.  Every year we have multiple student-athletes decide to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.

Our campus includes highly maintained facilities and grounds, a very robust wireless infrastructure that services our technology one-to-one program, and a career center hub that offers career and technical education to junior and seniors, including dual credit courses.
