PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH

We welcome our parents to Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, February 15th from 3:30pm – 7:00pm.  The school will be open for parents to circulate the building and have brief conversations with the teachers.  We use an open house format so no appointment is necessary.  Please come when it is convenient for you!

CONGRATULATIONS PTHS SCHOLASTIC BOWL

The JV Scholastic Bowl won 2nd Place at the Roanoke Benson JV Invitational Tournament Saturday. Team Captain Clayton Haase won 2nd Place on the all tournament team. The JV team’s current record thus far this season is 14 and 2.

KALYNN WILES AND TANNER WALLS SIGN THEIR NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

Congratulations to Kalynn Wiles and Tanner Walls for signing their National Letter of Intent to continue their athletic career into college.  Kalynn Wiles will cheer at Bethel College and Tanner Walls will play baseball at Kankakee Community College.  We are very proud of both of these student athletes and wish them the best of luck as they compete at the college level.

P2D2 STUDENTS CAN CHANGE THE WORLD PHARMACEUTICAL SUMMIT

PTHS will host the P2D2 Students Can Change the World Pharmaceutical/Opioid Summit on February 16th.  This summit will be a one day series of workshops held by PTHS students for students of Illinois.  The goal is to engage and enable local youth to make an impact in their local community with regards to the unused medication and opioid epidemic. PTHS and LACC are cancelled for Monday, January 8, 2018 due to ice on roads. Please stay safe under these conditions!

PTHS/LACC cancelled Fri., Jan. 5. We take extra care with the first serious cold to acclimate. As the winter continues, we look at each situation individually. Safe warm and stay safe!
